MY SKINNY PEPPERMINT MOCHA RECIPE (only 125 calories vs. Starbs 440 CAL)
AH! So excited to share this yummy recipe with you all! 125 calories for a whole cup vs Starbucks Grande Peppermint Mocha which is 440 calories!!! This recipe is a great way to save money AND sip yummy coffee with a whole lot less calories!!!
x International Delight Peppermint Mocha Creamer
x Nonfat Milk
x Nespresso machine w/ milk steamer (or similar espresso machine)
x Reddi Whip (optional)
x Candy Cane (optional)
x Cinnamon (optional)
Measure 1 cup nonfat milk (90 cal.) and pour into your milk steamer! I let this run while I do the other steps since it takes a little longer!
Grab your mug & measure 1 tablespoon of the International Delight Peppermint Mocha creamer (35 cal.) and pour it into your mug! Then start your Espresso machine and pour the shot/coffee over the creamer.
Stop Espresso machine when cup is a little under half full or about 1/4 full. Then pour steamed milk over espresso!
So easy to make!! I also like to add a few extra things on top if I have them for extra flavor! I love the Reddi Whip Fat Free (to me it tastes the same and only 5 calories per 2 tablespoons).
I didnβt add any of these toppings to the overall calories of the drink, but I will let you know the calories of each topping so if you decide to add them in you can add it over the 125 calories for the drink!
I love adding these mini candy canes too for extra flavor! (15 cal. each) and also some cinnamon or nutmeg on top (6 cal. for a sprinkle). A super yummy addition for some holiday spice!
