NYFW x DAY 1 & 2

HELLOOOOO from the BIG APPLE!! Wow I feel like such a little fish in a big pond, but I LOVE how huge this city is! Endless fun & cute food spots :')

DAY 1

I'm gonna combine days 1 & 2 since we didn't do much our first day coming in!! We flew in & went straight to the hotel to get settled. SO exhausted from our 6:30am flight. Did I mention the whole flight I kept accidentally spilling on the person next to me? : ) I was exchanged a lot of dirty looks for my clumsy self LOL.

That night after we were all settled, we went out to the CUTEST little Italian restaurant (we were CUH-RAVING *craving* pasta!!). It's called Ruby's Cafe & we actually ran into it while trying to find a different cute place! I swear that's how it always happens. I overate the most amazing pesto pasta & had the yummiest red wine. 

After we headed over to Beauty & Essex which was a lounge/restaurant type place, but SO cool. It looks like a pawn shop when you're entering, but it leads to the lounge! Such a cool layout & definitely the most perfect spot for a GNO!!! 

DAY 2

First day of Fashion Week EEEK my nerves. I literally couldn't sleep the days before!! Even back home in Seattle I was getting so nervous, I don't even know why!!! I think I felt so much pressure, which is so silly looking back at it. I think a lot of it was excitement too though ;)

Our first morning we went to the Alterre Shoes Event which was at this cute little french bistro/coffee shop & we were served breakfast & coffee & got to look at shoes!!! It really doesn't get any better than that. lol. I will have videos of the event & more up in my NYFW youtube!! 

After we were still hungry (we love to eat) & headed to none other than.. BLUESTONE LANE YAY. I had heard so many things, it was basically a bucket list item so I had to go!!! I got the yummiest (& prettiest) avocado toast & yogurt & I'm still dreaming about it. 

Later on, we headed to the Flatiron building & Madison Square Park to take pics!!! Of course we had to grab some coffee at Lady M beforehand!!!

We attended the Jeanette Limas show later that evening, LOVED the clothes. It was actually stuff I would wear not crazy runway clothes! The show was not our fav, but still so fun!! 

Last stop of the night - Pietro Nolita BUT HONESTLY this place I was stopping myself from licking the plate. I had the yummiest wine spritzer, but the main prized possession was that gnocchi! Game changer. Also, the whole entire restaurant was pink, so who couldn't love it?! First successful day!!! More coming soon! xoxo
