NYFW 2018 x
NYFW take 2!!! Always such a good experience going to NYFW, the parties, meeting other bloggers & brands, the shows! That is why I go to NYFW to make connections for my business cause you never know who you can meet!
We stayed at the Watson Hotel and it was a great spot in between the shows, super close to Central Park and to other main parts of the city that we wanted to visit!
FOOD x
Some of my favorite cute & yummy spots! Laduree is always my favorite place to go. The one in Soho is AMAZING. It’s the cutest garden/courtyard. Pietra Nolita is great for dinner/lunch (I prefer dinner - but lighting for this pink place is cuter during the day). Cha Cha Matcha is great aesthetic wise and cute latte art, not a huge fan of matcha though gotta be honest lol. Those are my top picks!
PHOTOSHOOT SPOTS x
The MET steps, Soho (my favorite!) pastel walls and pretty buildings all around, the Flat Iron Building - and the cute park next to it!!
Other spots we didn't get to shoot but are amazing
x Top of the Rock
x Brooklyn Bridge
x East Village, Manhattan
x Bethesda Fountain & Terrace
SHOWS / PARTIES x
Love experiencing the shows, BUT they don’t do much for me to be honest. It can be great seeing other bloggers and making connections. But the real meetings and exposure is best at the parties! Last year the biggest party I attended was the Lulu’s Party where Tezza, Aspyn Ovard, and so many other great influencers were there! I also got to meet the marketing director of Coca-Cola who hosted the party so that was cool lol.
This year I attended the Liketoknow.it party where I got to meet Lauren Kay Sims, Cella Jane Blog, Champagne & Chanel, and SO many other bloggers I look up to SO MUCH. These are the opportunities I come to New York for. I’m not sure if I’ll be attending in 2019, but if you have any questions on how attending NYFW works. Reaching out to brands to get invites, etc - let me know! Hope you enjoyed this post! xx
