Tips on how to get glowing skin!!

Hi friends!

Happy Tuesday! Hope ya’ll aren’t going too stir crazy yet! Luckily I’m such a homebody i’ve been goooood lol. Just lots of walks with Honey and Diet Coke runs to Chick-Fil-A!

Excited to share my tips on glowing skin today! Ever since I posted a little boomerang of my skin post my “morning skin routine” I got lots of questions on how to get that glowy skin look! So I’m going to share some practical ways (products & other things) on how you can get glowing skin for us girls/guys who don’t naturally have it!

Coming from a naturally dull skinned, acne prone gal who has learned how to manage troublesome skin. I want to share what has helped me manage what I put on the inside & out!

If you want my specific product by product morning & night skincare routine you can find it on this blog post. Okay so FIRST after cleansing my skin I always use my Vitamin C cream (I linked one above) and then immediately use my cold jade roller (also linked above). I swear by this in the morning!

After, I use my SPF which I linked above. This is KEY for glowiness. It’s so lightweight & gives that dewy look we all love! I also linked from the same brand my mango lip balm I love that keeps my lips super hydrated & lasts forever!

I recently invested in a humidifier that we have on every night since its SO DRY HERE IN AZ! Welcome to the desert life lol! You may not need this, but if you live somewhere that’s drier - definitely invest in one. I love this one because it’s inexpensive, from amazon, good looking & works great!

food / supplements

OK OK! Honestly I think these are just as important IF NOT MORE. So Collagen is great for your skin, hair & nails - I love adding this in my smoothies or coffee! I love the vanilla but if you prefer the regular I linked that as well! Linked some Good Skin gummies as well - I went through a whole bottle of these exact ones and they’re so good!!

Next, Celery Juice!!! Seriously. I started juicing about 2 months ago and I stopped for one week (lack of celery at grocery store.. thanks corona). And my skin was SO DULL that week, it was crazy!!! Celery juice has so many other great benefits you can look up as well. It’s best to have it in the morning on an empty stomach and wait 30 min until you eat anything! I linked my juicer below. It’s a hassle to clean and not the nicest (I will invest in a better one when we have the money, but does the job for now!)

GREENS/VEGGIES. Stock up on the veggies!!! You’ll feel so much better as a whole, but also your skin will glow from lots of veggies! I love having a green smoothie to get a lot of my greens in. I have a great one linked in my “meals” highlight tab on my IG! I also try every day to supplement my lunch & dinner with greens/veggies.

LEMON WATER. Seems basic enough but read this!!! Hot lemon water is the best to have in the morning 30 min prior to eating as well. (Typically I’ll have both this and celery juice together, then eat 30 min later). Go to Kenzie Burke’s IG page if you want to learn more about the amazing health benefits of this. Ice water with lemon is great as well, but because there are some additional benefits to hot lemon water I typically do that (at least in the morning).
