Current Hair Products + Tools

Hi Friends!

Hope y’all are having a great week!

Gonna share my current favorite products & tools, how I use them, and also gonna attach a YT vid of what I ask for when I get my hair done (for any of those who are interested!).

Okay lets get to it. All links will be available & explained!

  1. I usually shower every 3-4 days to preface, so I don’t do all of these steps all the time. Certain products will be used every shower sesh and other products will only be used weekly. I use the Olaplex 3 once a week before I shower. I’ll get my hair wet & let it set on my hair for 10 min. This is AMAZING for dry hair and was so needed for my hair after I went lighter. Once I get in the shower I rinse this off and start step 2.

  2. I shampoo with Iles 1. I like to shampoo twice, once to get the gunk out of my hair (dry shampoo, hairspray, etc.) and another time to actually clean my hair.

  3. I’ll condition with Iles 2. I only condition for mid lengths down to avoid any greasiness on my roots throughout my non shower days. I’m also going to use a Iles hair mask I use once a week instead of conditioning.

  4. Okay now I’m out of the shower with towel dried hair (just to give y’all a clear visual hahahaha). I will rotate every other shower with Iles 3 & Olaplex 6 as my finishing heat serum. I like using Olaplex 6 on towel dried hair more because every day on my dry hair i put a pea sized amount of Iles 3 as a daily heat protectant.

  5. I either let my hair air dry or blow dry with my T3 NOT on the highest heat. T3 has damaged my hair before from high heat so I definitely watch that now.

  6. Apply hair spray before curling hair (I haven’t tried before straightening but try it and lemme know if you like it!). Finally I use my GHD curler or flat iron to style my hair. I prefer this iron over T3 because it is way less damaging to your hair. After I curl I wait at least 10 min to brush it.

  7. Lastly after I’ve brushed through my curls I finish with Moroccan Oil hairspray. I hate hairspray usually, but this one has a great hold and is super light. Easy to brush through and get my “messy look” without looking like I have mounds of hairspray in. Make sure to get the exact one linked as there’s a bunch of different kinds.
